Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, beneath the glove compartment. Remove the Velcro cover to access the air duct; at this point, unclip the cap of the cabin air filter container and extract it, allowing any remaining debris to fall out. Insert the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction is correct. Finally, reapply the cap and the Velcro cover. It is also recommended to sanitise the cabin using a suitable sanitising spray: this will eliminate any mould, leaving a pleasant fragrance.
