Replacing Cabin Air Filter and Engine Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, under the glove compartment, just above the scuff plate. Detach the soundproofing cover, secured with bayonet clips, until it is completely removed. At this point, you can access the protective cap of the filter: remove it, extract the old filter and insert the new one, ensuring the airflow direction is correct; then reapply the cap and the previously removed cover. The video also shows how to replace the engine air filter: this operation is very simple, just unscrew the fixing screws of the filter housing cover, remove the old filter and insert the new one.
