Replacing Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side, just below the windscreen: open the bonnet, remove the seal at the base of the plastic grille, and unscrew the fixing screws of the cabin air filter housing; then extract the plastic support that acts as a cap and the filter itself housed in another plastic support. Insert the new filter into this support, ensuring there are no dirt residues inside the filter seat, and insert the new one respecting the direction of the airflow; finally, reposition the cap and the seal.
