How to Replace the Dashboard of the Volkswagen Polo

First, disconnect the bonnet, lift it, and disconnect the battery cables. Next, remove the cover of the steering column to access the central part containing the airbag. By unscrewing the central bolt, you can also remove the steering wheel. In the meantime, remove all components from the central column and all seals around the doors. Now, remove the bolts securing the dashboard display, and also take out the glove compartment to access the screws fixing the dashboard on this side.
