The procedure to reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Polo involves pressing and holding the 0.0/SET button located in the centre of the instrument cluster: you need to hold the button while the instrument cluster is off. While continuing to hold the button, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster: after a few seconds, you will notice that the light will reset and a confirmation message will appear.

Once the confirmation message has appeared, you can turn off the instrument cluster.
