When the cigarette lighter of the 2018 Volkswagen Jetta stops working, it is necessary to replace the corresponding fuse. The fuse to be replaced is located inside the cabin fuse box, specifically behind the driver's side glove compartment.

To replace the fuse, you need to remove the glove compartment. The fuse in question is designated as F40, 20 Amperes.

If the cigarette lighter still does not work after replacement, it may be necessary to replace the internal connector of the socket or the socket body itself, as there may be a current leakage.
