How to Replace the Cigarette Lighter Fuse in a 2013 VW Jetta

When the cigarette lighter in the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta stops working, it means you need to replace the fuse. The fuse for the socket is located inside the fuse box in the cabin, under the steering wheel.

To access the fuse box, remove the lower dashboard by unclipping it. Once the fuse box is open, replace the fuse for the socket, labelled F30, rated at 20 Amperes. Pull out the fuse with pliers and insert the new one, close the fuse box, and test the socket's operation.

If the problem persists, the issue may lie with the internal connector.
