How to replace the fuel filter of the VW Golf 4

Like all filters in the Volkswagen Golf 4, the fuel filter also needs to be replaced. To replace the fuel filter on your own, you first need to open the cap of the external tank and then lift the vehicle. With the vehicle lifted, remove the filter by unscrewing the nut that secures it and the corresponding connector; you will need a Torx key and clamps to do this. Once you have replaced the filter, you can lower the vehicle and close the tank cap, and proceed to refuel if desired.
