In the Volkswagen Transporter, resetting the service light involves inserting the key and turning it to switch on the ignition without starting the engine. At this point, press the button on the left side of the instrument cluster until the service light starts flashing in the menu.

When it flashes, turn off the ignition by turning the key and removing it. Now, press and hold the button on the right for a few seconds, then insert the key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster again. Releasing the button will reset the service light.
