To replace the battery in a Volkswagen Touareg, loosen the screws that secure the driver's seat to its housing: these screws will be located at the front and rear of the seat's sliding rails. Once all the screws securing the seat have been loosened, disconnect the underlying connector and remove the seat by detaching the panel underneath.

The battery can then be freed from its housing by loosening the screws and disconnecting the cables; at this point, insert the new replacement part, ensuring that everything functions correctly.
