Today's video will show you how to remove and replace the gear knob of the Volkswagen Polo in simple and quick steps. First, get into the vehicle and start detaching the gear gaiter from the base, prising it off from the sides; lift the gear gaiter and detach the metal clip located between the gaiter and the knob, as illustrated in the video.

At this point, pull firmly on the gear knob to remove it from the lever, replacing it with the new one; secure the gaiter to the knob with the new clip, finally fixing the gaiter to the base of the gear lever!
