In order to remove the central tunnel of the Volkswagen Golf, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the paneling present here: you will start with the screw located in the inner part of the rear cup holder. You can then proceed by removing the shift lever trim and the respective side panels. All screws covered by these components must be loosened so that the central tunnel paneling can be completely detached. At this point, you can insert the new panel, securing it with screws and checking that everything works.
