How do you remove the rear door panel of the Volkswagen Jetta?

In order to remove the rear door panel of the Volkswagen Jetta, you need to pry it with an object to detach the trim that covers the handrail: underneath it there will be screws that must be completely loosened and removed. Once these screws have been loosened, you can disconnect the power window switch connector and proceed to release the clips at the bottom of the panel: once it has been detached from its housing, you can then position the new replacement piece, securing and connecting it properly.
