To manually set the time displayed on the instrument cluster of your Volkswagen Golf Mk6 (2008-2012), simply enter the cabin and reach the driver's seat. Insert the key and start the ignition, then press and hold the button located below the rev counter until the hour digits are selected.

Next, press the button located below the speedometer multiple times to set the hours. Repeat the same procedure for the minutes, and you are done.
