Today's main instructions will show the location of the fuse boxes and how to find their diagram for the Volkswagen Passat. First, open the left front door and start removing the plastic cover found on the side of the dashboard, prying it off at the edges; this will give access to the internal fuse box, as shown in the video.

At this point, open the bonnet to access the external fuse box by removing the plastic cover located next to the battery; the fuse diagram is also present in the owner's manual!
