How do you remove the door panel of the Volkswagen Passat?

In order to remove the door panel of the Volkswagen Passat, you need to pry it off with an object to detach the handrail trim: this will give access to its underlying screws, which can all be loosened and removed. Once these screws have been unscrewed, it will be possible to loosen those located in the lower part of the panel: this will allow you to detach it from its housing, disconnecting the underlying connectors. This way you will be able to insert the new door panel, fixing it to its seat and reinstalling the trim.
