Removing the Door Panel on the VW Passat

Removing the door panel of the Volkswagen Passat? Remove the cover panel of the car door. Remove the cover of the handle located above the panel. Unscrew the screws in the handle area. Unscrew the screws under the door panel and detach the securing clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and disconnect it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door or install a new cover panel. After securing the clips of the panel, screw in the securing screws and fix the handle cover.
