The following steps will show us how to activate and deactivate the anti-theft or alarm system of the Volkswagen Passat. First of all, make sure all the car doors are closed, with the side windows completely closed; then press and hold for a couple of seconds the red button on the remote control, activating the alarm system, as shown in the video. By applying the opposite procedure, we will then deactivate the anti-theft system; remember that the anti-theft system is an optional feature and may not be present on all trim levels.
