Where is the OBD port of the VW Transporter located?

Model: Volkswagen Transporter MK 6, T6 - Years 2014-2025

The Volkswagen Transporter model T6 features an OBD port inside. The OBD port is located inside the multivan's cabin, specifically under the dashboard on the driver's side, visible also thanks to its fluorescent purple color indicating its presence even in low light conditions. To access the port, the dashboard panel needs to be removed. This port is used with computers for diagnostics to reset various warning lights, perform vehicle checks, troubleshoot and indicate vehicle problems. Its presence has been regulated by law since the 2000s.
