The Volkswagen Transporter T6 has an OBD port inside the cabin. The OBD port is located under the dashboard on the driver's side, visible due to its bright purple colour which indicates its presence even in low light.

To access the port, remove the dashboard panel. This port is used with computers for diagnostics to reset various warning lights, perform vehicle checks, and identify vehicle problems.

Its presence has been regulated by law since the year 2000.
