How to Reset the Service Light in a 2003 Volvo XC90

The video illustrates the manual procedure to reset the service light in the Volvo XC90. First, locate the button situated at the bottom right of the odometer. If the maintenance indicator starts to flash, it may mean that one of the maintenance parameters has not been programmed. To do this, you need to use an appropriate diagnostic tool. Also, check that there are no fault codes displayed on the instrument panel. At this point, you can begin the reset procedure. Close all the doors of the vehicle and turn on the ignition by placing the key in the "I" position (accessory). Press and hold the button in the "I" position. Within 4 seconds of starting the previous operation, turn the key to the "II" position (while still holding the button). When the maintenance indicator starts to flash, release the button within 5 seconds. Finally, an audible signal will indicate that the reset has been completed.
