How to replace the battery in the Volvo sport key

In this video we can see how to replace the battery of the Volvo sport key: it is advisable not to use the key while playing tennis, skiing or swimming. The battery lasts about 3 years, and this key is theoretically disposable, so when the battery runs out, we should change the entire remote, which costs a lot of money. In reality, it is possible to change the battery, although the remote will no longer be water resistant. We will need a cutter, with which we will cut on three sides around the remote, being careful not to press too hard, or we could damage the internal circuits. Inside we find a common CR2032 battery, with the negative polarity on the top side and with insulation all around. We will change the battery and put it back in the same position, without the insulation part, then we will put the covers back in place, re-gluing them and making sure they adhere well. The remote will now work for another three years.
