How do you reset the Service light on the Volvo S40?

To completely remove the Service light that is displayed on the Volvo V40 instrument panel, you can reset it by holding down the button located in the center of the instrument panel while it is turned off: continue holding down the button, it will be possible to insert the ignition key into the ignition switch. Turning the key, it will then be possible to continue holding down the button on the instrument panel until the Service light is reset correctly; after the operation, you can release the button and turn off the instrument panel by removing the key.
