How to disassemble the center console in the Volvo 850?

In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the central console in the Volvo 850, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the cabin, then we unhook the cover of the diagnostic socket and unscrew the two screws just freed with a Torx T25 key. We then remove the entire frame by levering with a plastic spatula, disconnect the connector and unhook the gear shift boot from the base. At this point we can lift the armrest, unscrew two more screws, grab the console and remove it from the floor. To install the replacement, just follow the reverse procedure.
