How to Adjust the Handbrake on a Volvo 850

If you want to proceed with a DIY adjustment of the handbrake on your car, you can find the instructions and method to follow in the description below and in the tutorial video. Once inside the cabin, remove the plastic cover located in the glove compartment behind the handbrake. Underneath, you will find a screw that allows you to adjust the tension of the handbrake cable. Proceed by trial and error to make the correct adjustment by loosening or tightening the cable.
