How to Change the Oil Filter and Oil in a Volvo V60

To change the oil and oil filter on your Volvo V60, the steps are very simple and similar to those of many other cars. First, lift the vehicle on ramps to access the underside. Then locate the oil filter and oil pan, which are positioned in a very accessible location. Next, unscrew the filter cap to allow excess oil to drain out, then use the appropriate universal wrench to unscrew the entire filter body in preparation for replacement. After removing the old filter, install the new one, making sure to also replace the gasket for safety. Once this is done, you can reattach your filter. Now, move on to the oil pan. As always, open the cap carefully, using a catch pan to contain the oil that spills out. Once the pan is emptied as shown in the video, clean the threads of the cap and the adjacent area, then close it. After completing these steps, you can finally add new oil to your vehicle.
