How to change oil and filter on a Volvo V40 D4

In this video, we will see how to change the oil and oil filter on a Volvo V40 D4. The first thing we need to do is remove the engine cover to open the oil filler cap, and then place a container under the car to collect the old oil from the drain plug of the oil pan. Of course, we will dispose of this oil at an authorized center. Near the oil filter, when all the oil has drained from the pan, we move the container under the filter because we will also lose some liquid here. We unscrew the filter, let it drip, and then replace it, lubricating the filter gasket with some new oil. We will do the same with the new gasket (and the new cap) that we will put at the bottom of the oil pan. Now we can refill with oil from the top of the engine, according to the manufacturer's specifications. We fill up to 80%, then measure and top up again, using only high-quality oil.
