How to Program the HomeLink in Volvos

To program the HomeLink system in Volvos, press and hold the button located on the sun visor on the driver's side and the button on your device's remote (for example, your garage door remote) simultaneously until the HomeLink indicator flashes quickly or becomes solid. If the indicator flashes, it means the device has a security feature, and you will need to press the "learn button" on the garage remote, then return to the car and press the HomeLink button again within 30 seconds.
