How do you remove the instrument cluster from a Volvo? Here’s how to disassemble the components. Remove the air vents; use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws located in the plastics of the steering wheel cover and take off the trim from the instrument cluster.

Unscrew the securing screws of the instrument cluster; after removing the screws, pull the piece out of the dashboard and disconnect the power cable located at the back of the instrument cluster. Fit a new piece or refit the same one (replace the bulbs in the instrument cluster).

Finally, reverse the assembly operations.
