The airbag housing is secured to the steering wheel with springs that latch onto pins located on the back of the airbag itself: to release it, insert a medium-sized flathead screwdriver into the designated holes behind the steering wheel corresponding to the two side spokes.

Once the screwdriver is inserted, catch the spring and leverage it to release it, allowing you to extract the airbag housing: while leveraging the spring, you can pull the airbag housing outward to facilitate the extraction process.

Repeat this operation on both springs.
