Replacing the Rear Light Bulb

Model: Volvo S40 MK 1 - Years 1995-2004

A blown bulb can result in a fine, so it is advisable to replace it immediately. To replace the rear light bulb, simply open the access flap located on the side of the boot. Once the bulb holder is removed by pulling it outwards, proceed to replace the bulb. Carefully remove the faulty bulb by pressing it slightly and turning it anti-clockwise until it releases. Fit the new bulb, ensuring it has the same specifications. Refit the bulb holder into the housing. Close the flap and check the proper functioning of the new bulb.
