Operation: Removing the rear axle shaft

Then remove the rear wheel in correspondence with the axle shaft on which to carry out the repair; unscrew the pin in the center of the hub, which fixes the drive shaft to the hub itself; with a punch and hammer, hit the center of the axle shaft to make it retract a few centimeters. At this point, with the special extractor, disassemble the head of the oscillating arm connected to the hub and complete the extraction of the drive shaft from the hub; then remove the intermediate support of the semi-shaft near the boot on the gearbox side and extract the semi-shaft from the gearbox, checking that the end of the semi-shaft itself is intact.
