Replacing the rear shock absorber is straightforward since the spring is not co-axial with the absorber but mounted on the rear suspension axle. To replace the shock absorber, lift the vehicle, remove the rear wheel, and unbolt the lower eyelet of the shock absorber from the suspension support.

Then, access the cabin, lift the carpet covering the shock absorber support area, and remove the fastening bolt. Attach the support to the new shock absorber and proceed in reverse order for installation.
