Today, you will learn how to remove the shift knob in a Volvo XC90 in simple steps. First, get inside the vehicle and use a trim tool to remove the plastic piece located under the shift lever; then grasp the shift knob and pull it upwards with force.

At this point, insert the new shift knob and ensure it fits securely; if desired, place a zip tie between the boot and knob to secure everything. Finally, reposition the lower trim pieces and snap them back in place, as shown in the video tutorial.
