Today, you will see how to disassemble and replace the gas struts of the rear boot on a Volvo V70 in simple steps. First, open the boot lid and use a flat screwdriver to remove the luggage compartment light cover; then, unscrew the screw located underneath to remove the boot panel.

At this point, remove all the plastics to access the gas struts; then, remove the retaining clips and disengage them from their seats, prying and applying a bit of force. Finally, replace them with the new ones!

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
