The exhaust manifold is a crucial component for the proper functioning of the vehicle. It is made of metal and serves to collect carbon monoxide and other harmful gases produced and disperse them into the environment. It may happen that the manifold is loose; in that case, tighten the bolts that secure it to the vehicle. You can also proceed to remove the part; stop the car, open the bonnet, and locate the part, while also welding any cracks you find and reassembling the manifold in the same way as before. Not replacing a visibly damaged manifold puts both yourself and the engine at risk.
