To replace the heater core in the Volvo S60, remove the side cover of the footwell located on the driver's side. This will provide access to the components underneath: here you will find the heater core, which can be extracted from its housing by disconnecting the appropriate hoses. Once the old heater core is removed, install a new one, ensuring it is properly secured and connected. After installation, reinstall the side cover of the footwell.
