Replacement of Rear Bonnet Support Struts

The rear bonnet support struts are actually gas springs that allow you to operate the opening and closing of the bonnet, providing a push during opening and support during closing to prevent it from falling accidentally while open or slamming shut. These struts are secured with spherical hinges held in place by a metal clip: to replace them, simply remove the clip and detach the spherical hinge (during this operation, support the bonnet with something like a broom handle).
