How to Remove the Lock Actuator on a Volvo S60?

Model: Volvo S60 MK 2 - Years 2010-2018
Part: Door lock

To access the door lock actuator on the Volvo S60, loosen the Torx screws located just beneath the armrest. Once these are loosened, you can detach the panel and disconnect the connectors inside to access the underlying components. Next, loosen the side screws to remove the outer handle, and then loosen the screws that secure the inner door panel. The actuator will be attached to this panel and can be removed by loosening its screws and replacing it with a new one.
