Volvo S60 - Video tutorial

Model: Volvo S60 MK 2 - Years 2010-2018
Part: Lock
Operation: How do I remove the lock actuator from the Volvo S60?

In order to access the door lock actuator on the Volvo S60 you have to loosen the 25 torx screws that are located immediately under the armrest. Once these have been loosened, it will be possible to detach the panel and disconnect the connectors inside, to access the components below. In this way, it will be necessary to loosen the side screws to remove the external handle and then to loosen the ones that secure the internal door panel. The actuator will be fixed to the latter, which can be removed by loosening the screws and replacing it with a new one.
