How to replace the front door lock on a Volvo V70?

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the front door lock in the Volvo V70, an extremely simple and quick operation. First, we open the door we will be working on, then we unclip both the internal cover of the mirror and that of the handle, unscrew the newly exposed screws with a Torx T25 key, and remove the various indicated plastic rivets. Next, we separate both the lock cable and the window regulator connector, unscrew the handle mounting bolts with a 10mm wrench, and remove the handle from the door. At this point, we just need to separate the lock from the handle, position the replacement part, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
