How to Remove the Lock Actuator from a Volvo XC70?

To remove the door lock actuator on a Volvo XC70, you need to remove the door panel: to do this, unclip the internal fastening clips by prying from the bottom of the panel. Once this is removed, you can unscrew the side screws of the door to remove the external handle. At this point, by unscrewing the bolts that secure the inner panel, you will gain access to the actuator, which must be detached from the panel and replaced with a new part, reassembling all previously removed components.
