Adjusting the Handbrake on a Volvo S80

Next, access the cabin and remove the plastic panel and the covering boot of the handbrake lever; underneath, you will find a nut that can be loosened or tightened to adjust the lever's travel. Perform a series of tests by spinning the wheels and trying to pull the lever until you find the correct adjustment and tension.
