How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo XC40?

Model: Volvo Xc40 MK 1 - Years 2017-2026
Part: Service warning light

Inside the Volvo XC40, you can reset the Service light by holding down the button located on the left side of the steering wheel while the instrument cluster is off. Continue holding the button and turn on the instrument cluster, waiting a few seconds for a message indicating the reset is in progress to appear. When the message shows that the maintenance interval has been reset, you can release the button on the steering wheel. To complete the reset process, simply turn off the instrument cluster completely.
