The guide shows how to repair the electric external rearview mirror of the Volvo XC60 Mk1. The first operation to be carried out is to remove the plastic cover of the mirror, using a plastic lever. At this point, very delicately, remove the pressure washer, the spring and the corresponding block, which are positioned on the mirror's rotation pin. Lever on the two plastic clips that hold the bottom part of the mirror in place, in order to leave enough space to extract the mirror body. Extract the control motor, held in place by four Torx screws. At this point, it is necessary to reposition the mirror locking pin by removing the plastic edge; remove dirt and, with the help of a small nail, extract the pin being careful with the corresponding spring. Clean the lower housing and reassemble everything in place. At this stage, reassemble the mirror in its original position before the repair. At this point, by acting on the mirror movement command, it is possible to recalibrate the correct movement.
