AIWAYS U6 - Video tutorial

Model: AIWAYS U6 MK 1 - Years 2021-2024
Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: How to release the plug-in charging cable of an Aiways U5?

In this video, we see a situation that can occur not only to Aiways U5 users, but to anyone using a plug-in electric vehicle: at the charging station, the cable doesn't want to come off and the automatic release doesn't work. But let's see specifically, opening the hood from the lever and opening the compartment (out of habit, we continue to call it the "engine compartment" but there is no engine, obviously). The cable attachment is behind the grille located under the left front headlight, the one in front of the driver. Under the cover in front of the driver, there is the 12-volt battery. If we go a little inside with our head, we see this white line of the body welding, the orange cable of the high voltage. Between these two components, we have a button that we can press to release the cable that doesn't want to come off from the charging socket; this way we can pull it off. It's very simple, if you know how to do it.

How to reset the TPMS light of the Volkswagen Polo 2011

The orange tire light indicates the presence of one or more tires with an inflation pressure below the recommended limit. All this is easily solved by inflating them correctly or replacing them in the event of a puncture. After carrying out these operations it is necessary to reset the warning light and therefore also the sensor in order to have new reading data. All you have to do is start the car ignition and then fully open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Locate the two buttons in the right corner and press "Set". At this point the reset is complete and you can turn off the ignition.
