How do you open the hood of the Alfa Romeo 159?

In order to open the hood of the Alfa Romeo 159, you will first need to pull the lever located inside the cabin, immediately below the dashboard on the driver's side: once this lever has been pulled, you will notice that the hood locking mechanism will be unlocked.

Once the hood has been unlocked, you can pull the tab located at the top of the front grille: this way the hood can be lifted and you will have access to the engine compartment.

To close it, simply push it down with enough force.
