The steps outlined in this guide will show us how to disassemble and replace the engine coolant thermostat of the Alfa Romeo GT 1.9 JTD. First, we open the hood of the car and start by disconnecting the coolant hose clamp, detaching it from the thermostat; then we remove the battery to access the thermostat, as shown in the video. At this point, we disconnect the other thermostat hose and unscrew its fixing screws to detach and remove it; we replace the thermostat with the new original one, reassembling everything.
