How do you replace the steering wheel of the Alfa Romeo 166?

To replace the steering wheel of the Alfa Romeo 166, you will need to insert screwdrivers into the holes located at the back of the steering wheel, in order to release the pins that secure the airbag of the steering wheel to its housing: once the airbag has been detached, it will be possible to disconnect the underlying connectors so that access to the central nut that secures the steering wheel can be obtained. At this point, it will be possible to proceed by loosening this nut and completely removing the steering wheel: the new piece can then be inserted in order to secure it and reinsert the airbag.
