Alfa Romeo 159 Brake Caliper Replacement

Model: Alfa Romeo 159 MK 1 - Years 2005-2011

Using a flat screwdriver, remove the protective cap from the hub bearing. With a breaker bar and a 36mm socket, loosen the hub bolt and the wheel bolts with a 17mm socket. Lift the car with a jack and completely unscrew all the wheel bolts, removing the wheel. Using a pry bar, remove the dust caps from the brake caliper. If you have a brake wear sensor, disconnect it. Unscrew the caliper attachment. Detach the retaining spring, again using the pry bar, and finally, you can remove the caliper. Remove the brake pads and proceed in reverse for reassembly.
