Removing Rear Shock Absorbers on Alfa Romeo 159

Model: Alfa Romeo 159 MK 1 - Years 2005-2011

Open the boot lid and remove the parcel shelf. Fold down the rear seatbacks and remove the boot cover. Remove the round clips securing the lower trims and take them out. Next, undo all the bolts for those trims and the bolts located above the rear bumper. Remove all trims and covers in the boot, disconnecting any connectors as well. Lift the car and remove the affected wheel. Undo all components securing the shock absorber (follow the steps shown in the video), cleaning them first with WD-40 spray and a suitable brush.
