Removing the Throttle Body on Alfa Romeo 147

Model: Alfa Romeo 147 MK 1 - Years 2000-2010

Remove the engine cover by unscrewing the fixing screws. Unscrew the intake duct at the junction and disconnect it. Next, remove the duct connection by unscrewing the three Allen screws. You will now see the throttle body: this is also secured by three Allen screws that you need to remove. Disconnect the lower duct connected to the throttle body, and finally remove it. To do this, proceed carefully by prising all around the body and lifting it from the limited space available. As you can see, this is theoretically a simple job, but it is made much more complex by the position of the body itself.
